Artist Susan Capan is based on Tamborine Mountain in the Gold Coast Hinterland, Queensland, where she and her husband have run Capanart Gallery since 2009. Painting for over three decades, her work reflects a strong engagement with landscape and place, from early years sketching in the Dandenong Ranges to her current rainforest studio. A private art teacher for over 30 years, her work is held in Australian and international collections. www.capan.com
