Welcome to my page here, on the East Coast Arts Trail! I look forward to showcasing all of my Australian created items with you between my originals and printed items. Ever since I could draw, I have been drawing one thing or another, from cartoons to buildings and locations to nature. I love thinking back to when it all started, strangely it wasn't 31 years ago though, more likely 2014. This was the year that I drew my first canvas shoe design. Shoes are my main love as far as designing goes. I wore them everywhere! It was something different you know. Not long after this, I was scrolling a dropshipping page for products, and I came across boots. I must have printed over a dozen pairs for myself over the following years, for work primarily, and I gifted a pair to my niece that was on my ebay page (the removal date had arrived, so I took it down after a year.) Sadly, those boots were no longer an option, so I began printing clogs and high tops for myself and others. It has been a joy to be able to do the occasional pair between both varieties, and one day I do hope to find an Australian made boot printer. In the meantime, many other ideas had made their way in, and I am trying my hand with those. Where ever I have lived, I have drawn for the most part. Whether it be towns or my immediate environment where I lived each time. Most smaller pieces have come from Cairns, while the larger are mostly from imagination. Our flora and fauna inspires me to find more ways to create its vibrancy from one day to the next. Many of my recent pieces glow under UV lighting, if I have used that kind of fabric paint on the original, and the item itself lends itself to it. Unfortunently, Australian made items currently available have this function, so I intend on printing the UV version of these in the future if possible to do so. I love colour and texture and movement in my pieces, and I do hope my creations bring a smile to your eyes. Maker of homewares, gifts and originals from my home all the way to yours. I do still intend on adding more Australian created pieces between print and my original creations. If my item is no longer available, it has either been sold or donated, as I move my items yearly. Every item will have a home, one way or another, and this is what makes "Create-Share-Donate" so special. Creating for the greater good!
