Marijke Lambregtse
Artist working across Painting • Mixed Media
Marijke Lambregtse is an Australian-based contemporary artist of Dutch origin whose work blends abstract figuration with a surreal sensibility. Her paintings explore the hidden relationship between humanity and the world through dissolving human forms, expressive colour fields, and dynamic brushwork. Recent works reflect eco-anxiety shaped by direct experiences of climate change. Using acrylics, recycled materials, text, and texture, she merges emotional impact with strong aesthetic presence.
