Jo is the founder of True Gusto, an artistic enterprise specialising in creating historical murals and picture books that celebrate regional heritage, particularly focusing on her homebase Lightning Ridge, through Cunnamulla, to Yowah’s opal industry. Jo's mural projects surface in spaces such as Sydney, The Scenic Rim, and throughout NSW and Qld. Through rich visual storytelling, Jo brings regional histories to life, fostering cultural preservation and community identity. Through her collaborative, research-driven practice, Jo transforms public spaces into dynamic educational platforms that empower communities across generations.
