I am an acrylic painter based in the Moreton Bay region of Queensland, and my work explores the intimate connection between memory and place. After a fulfilling 40year career as a teacher, I’ve embraced my longheld dream of dedicating myself fully to my art practice. This new chapter has allowed me to deepen my creative voice and share the moments, emotions, and landscapes that have shaped my life. Drawing inspiration from figurative forms, abstract botanicals, and the expansive beauty of coastal environments, I create paintings that evoke familiarity, warmth, and quiet reflection. My work invites viewers into a gentle journey of recollection — a space where personal memories and imagined stories intertwine.
