Artist working across Painting • Painting - Acrylic • Painting - Botanical • Painting - Trees & Gardens
I am a Brisbane based artist. I studied initially at the Brisbane Institute of Art and have been painting for many years. I now have my own studio and paint professionally. My work is purely abstract and I paint intuitively. I usually create several layers as a background, then I seem to enter a state in which my feelings take over-so I am never sure exactly how the painting will turn out. But one thing I do know- bright colours play and important part in all my paintings. I feel colours influence the soul and bright colours have a positive effect on our outlook. My desire is to create a sense of joy-and perhaps stir the imagination a little as well.
