My work explores nature as a transitional space that evokes wonder through its raw beauty. At its heart, is a desire to capture the sublime; that awe-inspiring experience of nature that alters our emotions and perspective, that changes us. Each work is a moment captured that has reached that transcending quality. A memory that has left an indelible mark on the human heart. I work primarily in watercolour and acrylic, traversing the boundaries between impressionism and realism. But it's the joy of seeing my work connect to people, that matters most. I paint the natural world because I see us reflected in it; complex, untamed, fragile, resilient, and just as beautiful - in all our depth and imperfections.
